Community health workers
Community health workers (CHWs) help reduce unnecessary costs and utilization by connecting under-resourced patients to health and social services. We have community health workers in acute, ambulatory and community settings. Hospital violence intervention program
This program has a dedicated team of advocates providing support services to patients and families admitted to Novant Health because of trauma (gunshot, stab wounds or serious assault). Our goal is to help those who have experienced community violence, working together to start the process of physical and emotional healing after a traumatic experience.
