We offer outpatient breastfeeding help in a supportive environment close to where you live

At Novant Health Breastfeeding – SouthPark, while we don’t have an instruction manual for your baby as many new parents might wish, we do have a team of providers here to offer all the instruction and support new mothers need to have a healthy and pleasant breastfeeding experience. We provide outpatient breastfeeding support to new mothers, including feeding consultations and help with breast pumps. Whether you feed your baby at the breast or pump exclusively, whether for one day or for hundreds of days, our team of breastfeeding specialists are here to be your best coaches and your most trusted resource.

Our International Board Certified Lactaction Consultants (IBCLCs) and will work with you before you have your baby or after your baby arrives to answer your questions about breastfeeding and help you and your baby through any feeding difficulties. Whether you are concerned about your newborn gaining weight, experiencing pain during feeding or in need of help with breast pumping or pump supplies, our team is here for you. You can see an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in our clinic even if you and your baby are being cared for outside of the Novant Health system.

Our clinic is located on Fairview Road across the street from SouthPark Mall. We are easily reached from Interstate 77, and are convenient to South Charlotte, Ballantyne and Myers Park.
