Our services

Novant Health West Forsyth Internal Medicine & Pediatrics offers complete primary care for children and adults, from birth through adulthood and on to the senior years. We encourage preventive care so you can establish a relationship with your provider, and so that your provider can help you address any small concerns before they become larger problems. Should you become sick, we will be here to help you get a quick diagnosis and feel better quickly.

Our services include:

• Same-day sick visits
• Newborn care
• Pediatric well visits
• Adolescent well visits
• School and sports physicals
• Immunizations
• Annual physicals
• Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals (needed to obtain a commercial driver’s license)
• Care for chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), cardiac conditions or allergies
• Routine gynecologic care including Pap tests, pelvic exams and post-menopausal care
• Lab services including blood draws, urinalysis and throat cultures
• Audiograms (to check hearing)
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs; to assess heart function)

Our daily walk-in clinic makes it easy for you to see a provider if you are sick or injured, without an appointment. From 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Monday to Friday, patients are seen on a first come, first served basis. Some of the concerns we regularly address during our walk-in clinic are:

• Flu-like symptoms
• Earaches
• Urinary tract infections (UTI)
• Coughs
• Sinus infections
• Headaches
• Minor injuries
