Get the information you need to make informed decisions about future care

Some types of cancer cannot be prevented. In other cases, with the right precautionary treatment, some cancers can be avoided or your risk of developing them can be significantly lessened. The first step in that process is understanding your risk. Novant Health Cancer Institute – Forsyth (Genetic Counseling) is here to help you do that.

Our clinicians have the tools and expertise to give you information about your chances of developing certain cancers. This is especially helpful if you have a personal or family health history that could mean you have increased risks. Our team will assess your current health and your family’s history before gathering genetic results through a simple blood sample. Based on all that information, you and your provider will consider prevention options and choose what is right for you.

Located on the campus of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, our clinic is easily reached by taking Silas Creek Parkway to Hospital Access Road, and heading north to Bethesda Road, or by taking South Hawthorne Road to Bethesda Road and heading south. We are close to Hanes Mall. We are convenient to the greater Winston-Salem area including Lewisville, Clemmons and Bermuda Run.
