When your child needs care for an illness, injury or other condition, it’s comforting to know they can get the care they need in a facility specially designed to meet the needs of pediatric patients from birth to age 18.
And because we understand how important it is for children to be near those who love and support them, particularly when faced with an illness or injury, our programs offer expert care without having to travel far from home.

Our family-centered approach welcomes you and your family as an important part of the healing and recovery process. We encourage you to stay with your child and be an important part of their care team. The Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital is designed with children and families in mind with features including:
- Private rooms with internet, flat-panel TV and DVD players in all rooms
- Large family spaces
- An interactive playroom with toys and games
- Family kitchen, lounge and laundry facilities on each floor
- Child life services through the Healing Arts Network
Pediatric Specialty Care
When your child needs specialized pediatric care, we provide access to advanced treatments and the expertise to manage a wide range of pediatric conditions. The dedicated Novant Health pediatric specialty care team provides inpatient and outpatient services in partnership with the University of North Carolina Health Care system, bringing exceptional care close to home.
