Children's Services
Compassionate, expert pediatric specialty care for all your child’s health needs
When your child needs care for an illness, injury or other condition, it’s comforting to know they can get the care they need in a facility specially designed to meet the needs of pediatric patients from birth to age 18.
And because we understand how important it is for children to be near those who love and support them, particularly when faced with an illness or injury, our programs offer expert care without having to travel far from home.

- An interactive playroom with toys and games
- Family kitchen, lounge and laundry facilities on each floor
- Child life services through the Healing Arts Network
Hospital Services

If your child is experiencing seizures or has been diagnosed with epilepsy, he or she may be admitted to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) for monitoring and evaluation using a combination of electroencephalogram (EEG) testing and video/audio recording. While admitted to the hospital for evaluation information may be collected:
- To record an episode in order to determine whether the episode is a seizure
- To record brain waves (and often seizures) in a patient with known epilepsy in order to guide treatment

Our all-private-room Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides round-the-clock care for premature and seriously ill babies. Your baby’s expert care team includes highly skilled, compassionate neonatologists, specially trained registered nurses, respiratory therapists, medical social workers and others focused on helping your baby develop and thrive.
Our supportive environment welcomes you and your family to be important members of your baby’s care team.
NicView offers families a view of their baby.
Our NICU families can access 24-hour streaming images of their babies through NicView – our streaming camera system. Get peace of mind when you are away from the hospital or allow loved ones to see images of your baby through a secure login that you control.
Once you have been given login credentials, you can access your account through a secure login portal.

If your child needs hospital care, the Pediatrics Unit offers a kid-friendly space to receive remarkable care. Your child will receive expert care from highly specialized pediatric care staff – available 24/7.

For children whose medical needs may be more severe, they will receive care in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) from specialists and nurses specially trained in pediatric critical care. Our team includes pediatric hospitalists and pediatric intensivists devoted solely to the care of hospitalized infants and children.

When your child has trouble sleeping, it can affect other aspects of their life including growth and development, attention and behavior. A sleep study can help identify the cause of your child’s sleep disorder so your child can get the rest they need. Our specially trained, experienced and board-certified pediatric sleep specialists conduct sleep studies on children as young as infants.
Your child may be admitted for a sleep study to help diagnose and treat a variety of sleep disorders including:
- Sleep apnea
- Restless leg syndrome
- Snoring
- Insomnia
- Congenital hypoventilation syndrome
- Night terrors
- Bed-wetting
- Sleepwalking
- Narcolepsy
- Nocturnal seizures
