Guest services and amenities

Parking is free. If you arrive after the main lobby closes, check in at the emergency room.

If needed, we offer curbside pick-up and drop-off to help you out of your vehicle and guide you to your destination.

The gift shop is on the first floor near the main lobby. It offers cards, books, magazines, flowers, candy, baby gifts, toys, and more. Call the hospital for hours.

Your gift shop purchase goes back into the people that make our hospital remarkable. All money spent at the gift shop benefits the Volunteer Auxiliary or funds scholarships for students in the medical field as well as special hospital projects.

  • East Cooper Café is on the first floor.
  • Vending machines are available throughout the hospital on every floor.

When you stay the night at the hospital as a patient, a member of the food and nutrition team will visit your room to take your order for each meal. A chef’s choice may be delivered if you arrive after orders have been placed.

You can request a security escort to and from the parking lot (available 24/7) by calling the main hospital contact number. 

We recommend you leave all valuables at home.

Weapons, drugs and alcoholic beverages are not allowed on Novant Health property.

  • Free Wi-Fi by selecting “Guest Network”
  • A sacred space for meditation, prayer and reflection is available on the first floor.
  • Comfort items, such as games, phone chargers, reading materials and extra blankets, are available upon request.

Tobacco-free campus 

Smoking, e-cigarettes and the use of tobacco products are prohibited anywhere on Novant Health facilities, including sidewalks, parking structures and inside vehicles parked or driving through campus.
