In addition to maternity services, the providers in women’s health can offer a full range of health screenings, diagnostic services and treatments for every stage of life. Our services include:

If you receive intravenous (IV) treatments regularly, the team of skilled nurses, pharmacists and physicians at the Matthews Medical Center infusion center can provide them on an outpatient basis.
To make you as comfortable as possible, you will be treated in a reclining chair where you can watch TV, catch up on your email, rest or browse social media via free internet access. Beverages and snacks are available, and we have a waiting room for any family, friends or caregivers who come along.

When you're being treated or diagnosed for cancer, you want to be cared for by board-certified specialists at a nationally accredited cancer center. Novant Health Matthews Medical Center offers both, as well as a nursing team that is second to none.
It helps to have loved ones nearby. Our dedicated inpatient oncology unit includes a waiting room where your loved ones can enjoy some of the comforts and conveniences of home while you are treated.
And because you may receive treatment on an outpatient basis, our outpatient oncology unit is staffed with specially trained nurses that can provide you with the advanced treatments and care you need as part of your ongoing care.
