I come from a long line of physicians, so it wasn't surprising to my family that I wanted to be a doctor from a very young age. It was during my general surgery training that I realized the breadth of experience plastic surgery offered. I was attracted to the opportunity to take care of patients of any age from head to toe.

Dr. Tenzel is the most compassionate of all of the doctors I have seen during my cancer journey. All have been professional and excellent physicians, but Dr. Tenzel showed sympathy for what I was going through, recognized that it's not normal and that it was a difficult time. It meant a lot to me.
