Dr Winborne has consistently proven to be a very skilled clinician and compassionate physician . She is very thorough in office visits as well as responding with follow up with labs on My Chart . I would recommend her to anyone .

My primary doctor was Dr. Kelly (whom we know passed away December 2023). I was on the fence on who to select for my primary doctor at Maplewood. Although I had heard good things about all of the MDs, I just was not convinced on "who" to select. I just have to say that Dr. Winbourne exceeded my expectations. I completed my annual physical with her during this visit. She answered all my questions and provided advice on some things I need to work on. I really value Dr. Winbourne's medical advice and am proud to say she is now my primary doctor. This was my first visit w/Dr Winborne. I am so very happy to have her as my new primary. She was excellent! Her demeanor was outstanding and she was extremely attentive to me. I never felt rushed. She asked probing questions and listened attentively. I was most impressed by how fast she responded to my question via MyChart. The same goes for my labs-she immediately messaged me with the results “in laymen” lol. Many times you get the lab results-medical jargon I don’t understand-days before your Dr gives you the results. A lot of googling the internet goes on while waiting on the Dr . The wait is scary sometimes. So I really appreciated that about her. You are lucky to have her….so am I!

Initially my blood pressure was higher than normal. The nurse recognized my nervousness and Dr. Winborne retook my blood pressure at the end of the examination. It had returned to normal. After the physical examination, I was sent to the lab for blood work. I appreciate that the lab results were in MyChart the next day. Along with the findings were suggestions to improve the elevated ratings. Dr. Winborne is organized and thorough. We had an excellent wellness session. Although Dr. Van Zandt is a difficult "act to follow", I look forward to Dr. Winborne being my primary physician for a very long time.
