About
My career in nursing can be traced back to my childhood, when my interest in science and helping others led me to volunteer for a school nurse.
Women's health emerged as my calling because I enjoy empowering women. My special interests are breastfeeding support, pregnancy and working with adolescents. I have been going into Forsyth County middle schools as a volunteer instructor since 2006 to help educate students about sexually transmitted diseases, personal health and contraception.
