I think primary care physician should be more considering of people with mental illness who are properly seeking treatment for bi polar depression. Please seek to understand without prejudice in listen to understand. I wanted to be pointed in the right direction to a therapist and my experience made me uncomfortable.

The office looked cleaner and more professional. I like counters clean and clear of clutter. That includes things like " bobble heads" and pens with taped on artificial flowers.

I have visited Dr. Hayes in the past about anxiety and it affecting my health.. as a young female I sort of felt taken as a joke, he looked at me and said “well.. stress is stress” and shrugged as if I hadn’t just expressed to him that I get so anxious I am unable to complete simple tasks at times. As a nursing student this anxiety and feeling of hopelessness has become a concern. I scheduled with Dr. Ramos after hearing a recommendation from a family member. She immediately made me feel comfortable speaking to her about my mental incapabilities and understood my worries. She swiftly noticed that my problems were not only situation but serious enough to need help managing them, she prescribed me with an anti- anxiety and depressant. She also explained that this was not a permanent fix but a temporary solution to get me through tough times - ensuring my ability to function on a usual adult level - I could not be more appreciative.

Everyone was really nice and respectful, they helped me out with the problem about getting back on to my chart. Please keep Everyone that works there, you couldn't ask for any other people who work well together and are extremely nice and caring about their patients.

I needed another appt for next visit. I was told it wasn't in the system. I will need to call back. Other than that, my experience was excellent. I needed a prescription that I forgot to ask Dr for at my visit. I gave a note to my nurse for Dr. She got back to me right away.
