Doctor listened to my concerns and opinions.

Professional and easy to understand.

The provider didn't seem to be that interested in what I was saying. He was quick and curt with his answers and didn't have friendly disposition. In his defense this may be his personality therefore I gave him a rating of fair.

I have nothing but good praise for Dr. Whittaker! Personally, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to do my surgery. He was a professional in ALL regards.

My ideal doctor is someone that's professional, knowledgeable, takes time to explain everything, courteous, but yet down to earth enough to smile, talk to you like a friend and make you feel comfortable when you are there. The last thing anyone wants to do is go to a doctor but when they can have a wonderful bedside manner about them it helps. I appreciate Dr. Whitaker having all those qualities. I feel confident I'll get the care I need.

I called with a minority urgent condition. My right ear had a blockage that made it nearly non-functional. I had called an ENT doctor that I had used previously in High Point. I was told that his first available appointment was 6 weeks out, and his P.A. would be 2 weeks out. I didn't want to wait that long, so I called Novant to see if they could do better than that. Imagine my delight to hear that Dr. Whitaker could see me that afternoon! Dr. Whitaker diagnosed this as an earwax problem and cleaned out that ear. I walked out of the office 30 minutes after I walked in, with my problem completely resolved.

He has saved me before and once again gave me his open and honest opinion and laid out my options in front of me. This was a first meeting with Dr. Whitaker following a referral from my NP. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Arrangements are being made for follow-up testing and activity.

My problem was unusual but the doctor did not let that deter him. He made a plan and is following through with it.

when you meet someone who knows their stuff, they have an heir about themself. that's Dr. R.N. Whitaker jr. I can't explain it, but this guy is sharp.

It’s difficult to take time away from work for a scheduled appointment especially when you end up waiting 45 minutes past your scheduled appointment before the dr sees you.

Doctor was not very personable with the veteran. We very rough in his treatment procedure and acted like he was inconvenienced with our visit.

The Dr. and staff were very nice and professional. They asked questions and listened to my responses. He checked several things and then said he could find out what was really find out more from an MRI,and the hospital would call for schedule my appointment. We have the appointment scheduled for Aprill 15,2024.
