Dr Shulstad is the best

Dr Shulstad is an outstanding pediatrician! I would highly recommend him to anyone asking.

Dr. Shulstad is a gem! He's an incredible physician and is adept at developing rapport with kids of all ages! We have been delighted with the care that our boys have received from him over the years!!

Dr. Shulstad does such a wonderful job with guidance for our kids but also for us as young parents. We’re so thankful for all of Symphony Park Peds, and so are many of our friends!

It is almost impossible to summarize the experience that my daughter had with Dr Shulstad. He is one of the best pediatricians around and gave her all the time she needed to work through some anxiety issues. It is not possible to quantify his innate ability to connect with a child and know exactly how to draw them out and how to support and comfort and validate her feelings. My family is so grateful that he has been a part of our care for so many years.

We got the appointment right away which was so helpful when it was possibly pink eye. It was not. Dr. Shulstad was great. He listened and was knowledgeable and kind as always.

Dr. Shulstad is very pragmatic but kind and helpful. His nursing staff is fast.

Dr Shulstad has been our pediatrician since our children were born. My youngest is going to age out soon and we are so sad to be leaving this practice. He is hands down the absolute BEST! He has provided extraordinary care of my children from birth into college. The care far exceeds anything I have ever found in an adult internist. Even with a complicated medical history and some unusual challenges he has always been there to help us navigate. He truly cares about his patients which seems to be very rare these days.

My son is 15 and Dr Shulstad did an excellent job of meeting his needs as a teenager. Giving him opportunity to discuss the things that happen for teenagers. Dr. S respected his desire to make decisions about getting a flu shot. He got it, but made the choice and felt good about it. We’ve been going to Dr S since we moved to Charlotte when my son was 2. I really appreciate the way Dr S focus on my child and compliments him on good things and honestly talks about things he could do to be healthier.

Dr. VanVoorhis and all the nurses and staff at Symphony Park are wonderful. We drive an hour from Wingate to their office for our children, because it has been proven time and time again that they are dedicated and knowledgeable. Excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Shulstad is so respectful of my special needs teen and has practical advice and solutions.

Dr Shulstad was really awesome. Very thorough and welcomed my questions, particularly about my son’s tongue tie and possible circumcision. Spent several minutes explaining detailed information on both. I left feeling very informed. Great doctor.
