Was referred to a hand specialist at Novant Hospital. Got a phone call that afternoon to arrange an appointment as soon as possible. Very satisfied with the results!

The x ray technician was the most thorough and competent I have had. I was especially pleased that Dr. Ewald ordered xrays for my right knee as well. I needed the comparison and information provided. Dr. Ewald explained everything and listened carefully. He consulted with his team before giving me my options. Previous gel injections and cortisone injections did not bring any relief. Dr. Ewald examined my left knee thoroughly and identified the location of my debilitating pain. He injected the cortisone exactly where it needed to be. I have been free of pain since.

Dr. Ewald and the entire staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met and I mean EVERYONE!! Friendly and professional. Great Staff!!!!!

I have been going to Dr Ewald a few years. He did my knee replacement and I trust him that he will do what’s best for me and my treatments.

First visit with Dr. Ewald. Went very well. He took time to explain everything I needed to know about knee replacement.

Dr. Ewald was gentle in speaking, showed confidence and conveyed answers that addressed my problem. His staff was very pleasant, extremely confident in their area of expertise and put the patient at ease in giving tests and examinations. I give everyone an A+.
