Dr Lori Gentile is the best !!

Dr Gentile & her staff were very reassuring.

My experience was great. My appointment with Dr. Gentile was successful.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but felt very good about the results. The action to resolve in the follow up to make sure it doesn’t come back. Novant staff is excellent and I feel I’m in very good care.

The staff members were absolutely wonderful. From the first person who greeted me to the last staff member I spoke with they were very welcoming, kind, friendly, informative, made me feel comfortable and valued. Excellent experience with all the staff members. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The provider has an excellent reputation. I think she knows her area of expertise very well. I trust her knowledge and skill, but I felt like I wasn’t answering her questions correctly, maybe not fast enough, maybe I wasn’t concise enough or misunderstood her questions. I am not sure. I would trust my care to the provider. She did a very thorough evaluation, was knowledgeable, and informative. She was very straightforward and focused. No room for small talk. We are all have different personalities. The main thing is I would trust her with my care.

Dr. Gentile was very professional and provided all the information I needed regarding my diagnosis. She was clear about surgical options, prognosis and anything else I brought up regarding the way forward.

I have recently retired, but prior to I worked in healthcare management for over 30 years. I always used my medical visits as opportunities to learn. Some visits were very poor and most were very good. I would have to rank my visit to the Novant Cancer Center an Dr. Gentile as excellent. If I were still working I would have gone back to my staff bragging about the professionalism and kindness each and everyone in the Novant office extended. I have always believed the patient deserves an experience of helpfulness, trust and compassion. I am thankful for my experience!

The professional demeanor of all of the staff combined with their personal care and concern was just the right combination to make this visit as enjoyable as possible under the circumstances. She got me in the very next day and spent a ton of time with my husband and me to understand all details, next steps, potential direction with procedures based on what we know, names on the team that will be helping me. Dr. Gentile and her staff are always welcoming and courteous. While this was just a follow-up visit, they were very kind and helpful. Dr. Gentile is an amazing doctor and is always willing to explain procedures, care, ongoing treatment, etc. in a way that is understandable. She is very personable and has a gentle demeanor which makes the appointments much more enjoyable.

I arrived a little early and got in early . A plus as I had a mtg later in PM. Did not have to wait long for Dr to come in. She talked to me,explained a lot,examined me.
