Dr Thompson is a great asset to Novant Health. She is very thorough, patient, and very knowledgeable and she gives her undivided attention to her patients and makes us feel like we are the only patient she has . She has a very delightful personality!

Dr. Thompson is a pro. Not only is her medical skills excellent, but her people skills are the best that I have ever experienced. Furthermore, her love of the profession and love for her patients is evidence by her concern and sincere experience. With her, I was not a production number nor a dollar sign; I was a patient who needed answers, solutions, and a treatment plan to remedy my disease. Moreover, if you all ever offer a workshop to staff on how to treat the patient, Dr. Thompson needs to take the lead. Truly, nothing fake about her. Genuine love for one's health and well-being is her priority. In my 63 years of living, I have never seen or witness any medical professional with her people skills and spirit of love. I am truly looking forward to my next appointment with her. I wish it was not 4 weeks away; but next week or two weeks at the most. She has motivated me to take my health concerns to a higher level and to be more conscious of preventive maintenance and checkups. DR. THOMPSON IS THE BEST)))

My appointment was a routine followup, but I had a couple of unrelated questions that Dr Thompson took time to address. I so appreciate her thoroughness and referral that I was able to schedule the very next day!

EFFICENT

Been seeing Dr Thompson for 3 years. I feel that she cares, listens, and knowledgeable. Advises me to get the tests that I need done. Mammogram, Colonoscopy, etc. The staff is friendly and tends to all patients waiting in line. Nurses come out call names always with a smile.

Dr Thompson prescribed a prescription that is bad for my kidneys and I have kidney disease

When they make an 7:30 appointment it should not be after 8:30 before the doctor comes in.

I had a 10:30 appointment. I was put in a room within 10 minutes. It was almost 11:45 before I saw the doctor. Her nurse moved me to another room and said there was only one person ahead of me. I left the building at 12:15. Almost 2 hours for a routine check up is too long. Plus I had lost 40lbs since I had seen the doctor and she never mentioned it at all. This is not the first time this doctor has been really late. I’m looking for a new provider.

The visit was on time and I had my questions answered.

Love the doctor but she always seems to be running behind. Also I get uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room with people that are coughing and saying how sick they are when I am there for a routine well visit.

I understand that things happen and providers can run behind but I waited in the exam room about 45 minutes before sticking my head out the door and asking if I had been forgotten. The MD came in soon after that but there was no explanation or apology.

My appointment was at 9 AM. I was never told the doctor was running behind. I was left in the waiting room until 9:50 AM. I didn’t see the doctor until 10:15 AM. Had I known they were running late, I would’ve waited in my car rather than in the waiting room with sick people.
