I had a excellent experience at my appointment.

My Dr. answered all of my questions about my Health. I understand my body is making changes. I’m 86 years old.

Dr. Crowder has always been a smart aleck and condescending in her comments, but after a somewhat decent physical appointment, she concluded my appointment by backing herself out of the room in the middle of our conversation. There was no “do you have any more questions?” Or “can I help you with anything further?” (She personally was in the room maybe 10 minutes. No more than 15.) As soon as she turned to leave, I remembered I had forgotten to show her a place on my chest, which looked suspicious. I picked up my bag, followed her out (she was probably 10 steps in front of me), called her name, at which time she turned around, held up her hand to stop me, and said emphatically, “No. No. I’m done. You can talk to my nurse at the counter. I’m done.” And turned and walked into her office. I stood there with my mouth hanging open, flabbergasted and shocked at her unprofessional behavior. Needless to say, I called and cancelled my husband’s upcoming lab and physical appointments with her the following morning. A “remarkable” experience? Not by a long shot!

Front office staff greeted me with being very pleasant. The nurse and doctor were very attentive.

Dr. Crowder thoroughly explained my lab results. She exhibited interest in my concerns and overall health needs. Relatable and compassionate.

I find access to the building difficult. The steps are steep and the alternative is a long walk. I wonder how difficult things would be as I get older and perhaps have to depend on paid transportation. GoGo does not assist their passengers and I suspect other public modes do not offer assistance. If one drives oneself, parking and getting into the building still would not be convenient for someone with mobility concerns. (I would suggest finding a place away from the noise of construction for persons who have hearing concerns to sit while waiting to be called to see their physician.)

Hi. I would like to say "People don't care how much you know, til they know how much you care." I miss the days when Doctors actually would see you as an individual and care about the whole you! A Doctor who will take time to get to know you and look you directly in your eye and actually "SEE" you and listen to you without judgement or trying to make you feel small just because they are the "Doctor". It's a sad state of affairs with this health care system today! I am more than a number during the course of your day. Caring should be taught during one's Residency. Everyone was courteous, helpful, professional knowledgeable. Checking in only took a minute. Unlike it Wake where it takes much longer. The staff was friendly and warm. The experience is much different than what I’ve received at Wake/atrium. That’s why I’m starting to transfer all of my medical care from Wake/atrium to Novant.

Dr Crowder took time with me. She listened to my health concerns and advised me with solutions. The staff in this office is always polite, caring and very helpful, even when I have called with questions.

I went in for a wellness visit, but I had a wicked cold and a few other issues. Dr. Crowder listened to my concerns and addressed each one. I felt heard and cared about. I so appreciated the time she took to hear my worries.

The frist team menber went to main desk an told other team member that she had called my name an I did not answer an had the other team member to call my name an he said that they did not think I was there an I had checked in an I was waiting .she was behind the main desk with him an looked a me in a mean way I do not know what was wrong with her she does not know me . about 25 mins later they had another team member call me in. I just do not understand this kind of treatment!!!!!!!

I really like my Doctor, I have a great relationship and feel I can discuss anything with her. Wish there were more Doctors like her in the Novant System. The nurses are fantastic and the best lab workers that draw blood are very good at what they do. I have been very lucky with the two doctors I’ve had in the years we have moved back to the Winston area.
