Before I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine, I had the opportunity to volunteer in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). I saw firsthand the amazing sacrifices women often make to build a family. I knew that I wanted to help women like those I saw, and to make a positive impact on their lives. In medical school, I quickly decided on the OB-GYN specialty; I love the continuity of care it allows me to provide and the ability to support women through all of life's stages.

Dr Parrott (and the other doctors I saw at Queen City OBGYN) were all extremely attentive to me during my miscarriage/ectopic pregnancy journey. I felt like they all genuinely cared about how I was feeling and considered my concerns when deciding on care. This was an emotionally sensitive scenario and they all handled it with grace assuring me that I would be okay.
