I met Dr. Darnell for the first time on November 9th. My former ID doctor retried. My care was turned over to Dr. Darnell who had clearly studied my record and knew the history of my lung diseases. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Darnell who took the time to explain my last CT scan. I was very happy with my interaction with Dr. Darnell and felt confident with the information he provided me and my continued treatment plan.

This service from Novant is extraordinary...and I should know. I am 75 years old this October and have been in Winston-Salem since 1976. Dr. Darnell is THE best doctor I have ever been treated by and I have been cared for by many. I am positive that he saved my leg from amputation. I really don't have enough good words to express my appreciation for his intelligence, thoughtfulness and caring, as well as his friendly, yet professional manner. May he be blessed...AND given a raise ?!
