Corey Mottesheard, DO

Dr. Mottesheard is the best. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Corey is very thorough prepared for each visit even when the times are switched or squeezed in. He understands me as an individual patient not just a patient and I feel safe with his conversations and medical decisions.

Dr. Mottesheard is an excellent physician. He's a good listener, thoughtful, respectful, provides options and doesn't have an agenda. He's a keeper.

Dr. Cory was fantastic at diagnosing my issue and especially explaining what was happening in detail even showing me diagrams that helped me understand. He also explained all the treatment options and what I should expect as I recover.

Listened to me for 5 minutes, then immediately passed me along to a specialist (podiatrist). Just would have liked him to do a bit of what the podiatrist will do — take an x-ray, Push on my foot to see where it hurts and what makes it hurt, …. He did give me an exercise to do and recommended an over the counter cream to try.

Dr Corey answered all of our concerns and questions about John's health and what to do, moving forward.

Very impersonal. Novant is just a big healthcare provider who doesn’t care about individuals but rather controlling the the market in the Charlotte area. Novant is not transparent as stated in your mission statement. Only transparent in the topics that Novant wants to be transparent. I would not recommend Novant to family or friends

Very attentive. Discussed my health concerns with me fully. Addressed my plan of care, referral for additional care, and how to get in touch via MyChart should I have additional questions/needs.
