My experience was much more than I anticipated. My regular heart Doctor retired and I chose to go to Dr. Tyson because my brother-in-law goes to him and he highly recommend him to me. Not to take anything away from my former heart Doctor but Doctor Tyson is amazing and touched on things and showed me my images of my heart and pointed out critical things that I had never seen before I started going to Doctor Tyson. I can't say enough about this caring Doctor.

Dr Archie Tyson is in my opinion very knowledgeable and thoughro about the heart and makes sure he checks every avenue and listens to every symptom I have before diagnosis is made. I am very pleased I'm back being treated by Dr Tyson. He use to be my cardioligist Dr when I had heart problems 10 yr ago at wake forest and after him leaving there ,it took me 3 yr or more to find him at Novant and so thankful me and my wife are pleased we have him. Number 1 in our opinion of heart drs around. He listens to me and goes from there.He has a wonderful Staff is very good also.

Dr. Tyson has a great reputation and I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor. He performed an ablation a year ago; have not had any problems since.

Provider very good at helping to alleviate patient's angst relative to the condition without ignoring patient's concerns, so it was overall a very good experience and I like this provider. Generally speaking, a larger percentage of our aging population finds themselves in caregiver status, sometimes on more than one front. Such a patient, like myself, will naturally have more angst as it relates to his/her own health, because the patient has people depending on them. The American Healthcare System must come to terms with the fact that 70 percent of the population will be age 65+ in just a decade and many in this age category will be caregivers driving the need for greater provider/patient compassion. The only minor concern would be that toward the end, the provider used the term "social visit." While it could be construed to be minimally social in nature in order for the provider to better understand the patient's story/concerns; the terminology could be offputting to some when the provider doesn't intend it. This provider seems to be a very personable and understanding provider.

I was treated very well and look forward to my next visit with Dr Tyson.

Dr Tyson and the two assistants that came in the room all were very informative and seemed to genuinely care for me.
