Dr.Martin is the best. She's caring and makes medical decisions that are right for the patient. She always tells me to come back before my next appointment if I need to.

Dr Martin and her staff spend time with you and they go out of their way to answer your questions. The nurse followed up on a perscription and called me after hours with the answer. Dr Martin is also the only Dr that spends the time to research a problem, and then runs tests to solve your problem. Most other clinics just tell you it's not in their expertise and just pass it on from there.

There was a longer than usual wait time - don’t know if this was just that particular day or if this is what I should expect. I will in the future take the first appointment of the day or first appointment after lunch as I was over-extended on my work lunch hour.

It really makes a difference when a registered nurse is working with the provider

I love that Dr. Martin always takes time to listen and personalizes her responses to me. I especially love that she expound on data and empirical research that I may not have been aware of that is also personalized to me. When I checked out all of my prescriptions were not on there, so I asked out staff to check, but they were not particularly helpful and just seem to want to sit there. Other than those two Staff members, the check in people were amazing and my nurse Ryann was awesome. I consistently recommend Dr. Shannon and Martin to my friends who don’t like their primary care physician.

Dr. Martin and her staff rise far above the Novant administration and the current "system" of healthcare delivery that has recently evolved in the New Hanover service area. She and her staff perform in a superior and most admirable manner in spite of the less than mediocre, disorganized, chaotic milieu which appears to be characteristic of Novant at this point in time.

My experience was good, the BAD thing was that I HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN AN HOUR FOR THE DR. Wait too long.

I wish I was given more information than to just wait. I waited about an hour and my appointment was about 8 minutes or less. I would have liked a work note or some ideas of what I could do to help heal faster.

I have a long history with Dr. Martin.

Far too long a waiting period. I came in at 1:45 for a 2:00 bloodwork appt. and was taken right in. However, I waited 45 min. for my wellness check and another half hour for my physical.
