Dr. Avery always takes the time to listen to any questions or concerns I have. I never feel like my appointment is rushed. She even ask several times if you have anymore questions or concerns.

Dr Avery-Benjamin, is an excellent gynecologist and truly an expert in the field. I had moved away from Charlotte but decided to drive 2 hours back just to see her and get her opinion on resent issues I had been having. I’m so glad I made that decision because the gynecologist I was seeing closer to me would’ve really had me messed up. That’s just how much value and trust Dr Avery-Benjamin’s opinion.

I would suggest when doctors are delayed by 30 minutes or more the staff makes calls to the patient so their appointment time can be adjusted or rescheduled

I arrived at my 3pm appointment a few minutes prior. Upon checkin I was notified that my appointment would be 1 hour behind schedule. This was highly inconsiderate of my personal time and unprofessional. I made adjustments within my work schedule to be present for my appointment. At the minimum, being notified ahead of time would have been helpful. Furthermore, I wasn’t seen by my doctor until 4:24. I waited almost 1 hour and thirty minutes to be seen. When I was finally seen by my doctor, the appointment was very rushed, stale and impersonal.

The wait was unacceptable. 55 minutes waiting with no update about delays.

She is awesome!

It really was the worst use of my time. I met with the PA, she had zero answers for me-she never asked me if I wanted to see the physician and she told me she could do a referral for further evaluation-then said she do don’t have the authority to do so. Im going to call my insurance because all I did was get my BP and weight checked, this was not a fully billable appointment.

My only issue is the wait time. I was there an hour before I was taken to a room. Also, it would have been nice for the provider to apologize for the wait. A simple "I'm sorry you had to wait " would have been nice.

Dr Avery is the sweetest. She listens and helps you work through what you are going through. She is thorough in her assessment and takes her time. She offers recommendations and solutions to your questions.
