Everyone at Novant Rheumatology was very pleasant during my office visit. Dr. Shenin and his staff take the time to listen to the patient and gave me all the information I needed to understand the plan for me. Check in and check out were easy.

Dr. Shenin was superb in handling my handicapped son. He treats him with respect and asks probing questions to ensure everything is going well. In yesterday’s visit he went the extra mile in ordering a chest x ray for my son who had Covid a few weeks ago. After reviewing the x ray he had his staff schedule a CT scan and followed up with us and my son’s pcp to ensure my son was receiving the best treatment for his condition.

The front staff at check in and check out were extremely nice and polite. This welcoming attitude when you enter the office starts off your visit and ends it in a great way. The doctor answered all questions I had and we agreed on my treatment plan going forward. The staff was also very helpful, and friendly.

I am starting to feel very rushed at my appointments lately. I have recently sustained 3 vertebral fractures and wanted to discuss my condition at greater length. I felt like no matter how much Dr Shenin may have wanted to extend our visit, he was to limited by Novant guidelines to do so. ???

He has a wonderful trove of knowledge which he supplements with the most updated facts online. He is taking a cautious approach, having me see an endocrinologist to confirm the next step he is considering. He's personable and has established a good rapport.

I started seeing Dr. Shenin shortly after he moved to the Wilmington area. I had my PCP refer me to a new Rheumatologist because I was very unhappy with the one that I'd been seeing for many years. Dr. Shenin was like a breath of fresh air after my previous experience. He listened to me and respected my knowledge of my disease and also respected how I've chosen and choose to approach treatment for my disease. This was not the case with my previous Rheumatologist. Whenever I hear of anyone needing to see a Rheumatologist I immediately recommend Dr. Shenin. I would not want to go to anyone else.

I am always nervous, but they put me at ease. Treat me with respect!
