Sabrina is a professional and I met the Medicare Nurse for the first time and was impressed as well. As always, my now and future PCP, Dr. Young is all business and facts. Just what I need from my physician. Count me pleased.

This was my initial visit. Sabrina was our welcoming committee of one, top shelf. And, now, there's Dr. Young. I cannot explain how thorough she was and how involved she seemed in my medical history. It was as though she was my GP for years. Hopefully she will. My daughters felt the same way. We lucked out.

Dr Young and the staff at Novant Leland were excellent. Always treated with respect, courtesy and attention to privacy. Dr Young listened intently and gave me feedback. She was kind and patient with my request. She made referrals as needed. I was particularly impressed that prior to my visit, I messaged her on MyChart and she responded very quickly, I so appreciated that . Having just moved here I was unsure about choosing a primary care doctor. Very happy with how this turned out!

The staff was great. This was my first visit with Dr. Young. It was for my annual physical. I felt that she responded to the medical issues well, but, I did not feel a personal connection with dr. Young. Upon meeting someone for the first time I was expecting some warmth and connection with her as to what my issues were. Technically she seemed to take care of things; in a personal level i was disappointed.

I felt all my needs were met. I was actually seen on time, if not a few minutes early. In and out, yet thorough. The front desk personnel has always been very friendly.

This appointment with Oceanside was the best from Paige to Doctor Young that I’ve had since moving to NC in 2018! No other practice or Doctor and sad to say Dr Young is my 5th! Competent care is hard to find in New Hanover and Brunswick counties, you put your life in a Doctors hands and they disappoint.. until now. You just want a Doctor to see “you”, not insurance, not a procedure to rack up stats, not to keep the practice open and not to “practice”, ME simply see me. It’s my life, remember that when you give care; checking in a patient, the nurse and the Doctor to checking out a patient. Or leave the profession, because we come in our most vulnerable state, depending on you to give your best. So I cheerfully write this note because I finally found a staff that sees Me.

Dr. Young was very gracious and patient to explore weight reduction ideas with me, from physical exercise to the use of the MyFitnessPal phone application, even entertaining my thoughts about the possibility of hiking the Appalachian Trail some day, and she mentionined that she has a friend who has done that! Please express my gratitude to Dr. Young for her able exam last Tuesday. Thank you.
