Nice visit!!

I felt fairly rushed through my appointment, which was disappointing. Dr. Reid was not very personable, and it threw me off. I only have one appointment per year, so I looked forward to a good conversation, but I didn't feel like we could dive as deep into some of my concerns because they're probably considered "status quo." I recognize that doctors see many patients and I assume many of us have similar questions/concerns, but it's frustrating to feel like a "number" vs. cared for in a more humanistic way.

I felt like I was rushed in and out. A general physical should be comprehensive. She did not look up my nose. She did not look in my throat. She didn't check on the conditions that I currently have. It was very cursory. I've never had such a short general physical in my life. I feel that novant doctors are being overworked and rushed and forced to treat us like we're on a conveyor belt. So I am looking for a new physician that will actually take the time to listen and make sure I don't have any issues with my current conditions.

I am VERY Happy with Doctor Reid and her entire staff.

Dr Reid saw my child seemed uninterested to treating him. She didn't recommend any blood work given my child comes from a different country. She seem to rush us out of office. She was not friendly and welcoming.

Without being told, they noted my husband’s anxiety and allowed us to be seen together.

Didn’t really feel a connection with the provider! I expressed my issues and I felt like I was being thrown off to the next specialist without any conversation into my history. There was no communication about why or how the prescribed medication would help me! It was very disappointing as I am looking for a primary physician.

Receptionist very prompt, Tech very efficient, X-ray techs polite and professional Dr Reid is always so pleasant and explains everything with all info I need. She responds to any questions I have and I walk away very comfortable with my visit.

Every single person I talked to and worked to help me at my imaging appointment was very kind and courteous and professional during my Bone Density test. Also, I had an X-Ray request by one of my doctors that I was not able to get done in Mooresville so I asked the front desk people if I could make an appointment and they said they could do it right then and I was so very appreciative of the fact that they were willing to do it today. It was just wonderful and kind of them.

I hadn’t seen my provider in over a year and although she was nice and courteous, the visit seemed a bit Rushed . I had questions about my test results. I reached out to the provider through MyChart and although she put comments in her response, she did not address my original question.

I have been searching for a provider that would listen to me as well as be relatable, down to earth, and personable. Dr. Reid checks all the boxes! I am so happy to have her as my new PCP. I’ve told all my family and friends about her amazing bedside manner. I am petrified of needles so I was extremely nervous about that part of my visit. Dr. Reid personally escorted me to the lab, showed me to my seat and reassured me I would be in good hands with her phlebotomist. The phlebotomist called me over. She could see how nervous I was. She gently held my hand and looked me right in the eyes and said “I’ve got you. I promise. Just take a deep breath and relax.” Before I knew it she was done! The BEST doctors visit I’ve ever had in my 51 years of life!

Dr Reid listened to my issues about weight and she referred to another Novant Group.
