My nurse and doctor treated me with compassion and empathy. I just lost my husband to a 38 month battle with cancer. I had neglected my health issues the entire time taking care of him, getting him to chemo, multiple scans and ER visits. He passed after 28 years of marriage and I have been grieving and depressed since. He was my best friend, lover and soulmate. They both took time to listen and accepted my anguish and tears.
