Dr. Brown’s assistant was extremely nice. And, Dr. Brown really explained what was causing my pain, and explained in detail what he could do to help the pain. He gave me four options but left the final decision up to me.

His bedside manner is one that medical students should learn. Many of today’s new doctors seem to rely more on tests than listening to a patient’s history or examining them. Dr Brown has character, ethics and a passion for his medical practice of neurosurgery. He’s one of the best physicians in Winston-Salem, and our community is blessed to have him.

Well, the provider I seen answered 3-4 phone calls on my visit! Very Unprofessional to me! He did not look at any of my information on mychart, not even my X-rays before my visit. He is not the only one that does this and this needs to change at Novant.

Front desk staff was kind, friendly and attentive. Nurses were kind, friendly, and caring. Dr Brown was exceptional as always, his care for patients is always 100% by his listening, knowledge and communication.

I've been a patient of Dr. Brown since 2020, and I believe I'm in very capable hands and he will do what is in my best interest. Dr. Brown's reputation as a surgeon is exemplary, but he's also very approachable and incredibly kind. I feel very fortunate to have him as my Doctor. I know I'm in great hands. He operated on both my hands and elbows last year for carpal tunnel syndrome, and it helped me tremendously. I saw him today for my neck. I've been having serious problems with it for many years now, and Dr. Brown has scheduled more studies of my neck since it's been 4 years since the last ones were done. I know whatever we decide to do will be the best thing for me.
