Miss Kayla at check-in was personable, pleasant and very thorough. I was nervous about establishing care with a new provider, but Dr. Lai was very kind. His approach is calming and serious with an understanding nature and highly informative in a small about of time. He made sure to establish understanding of treatment as well as opening the floor for questions. I didn't get the young lady's name at check-out, but she was very helpful as well in getting my next appointment scheduled and ensuring to scroll through appointments to find a best fit for me. I'm happy to add these kind people to my care team!

Dr Lai is a great doctor. It felt I was just talking with a friend about my health. He made the initial visit an ease for a usual nervous person like me. Overly pleased about having him as my physician continuing forward.

My provider seemed very rushed. It was my first time meeting with him (first time at Novant) and I felt like I couldn't ask all of my questions because he was hurrying me out. He also was not very compassionate, just straight to the point.
