Orthopedic Home Care
When you decide to schedule a knee, hip or shoulder replacement, you can ask your orthopedic surgeon to continue your treatment with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Home Care.
Home care is recommended for orthopedic patients who:
- Have had orthopedic surgery
- Have had an orthopedic injury
After surgery, we'll work with your doctor's plan to help you get back on your feet. Your treatment plan may include a combination of skilled nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy. A medical social worker can help you find community resources, and a home health aide can help with personal care.
