My experience was great. The scheduling process was easy and I was able to get an appointment quickly, even as a new patient. The entire team was great, everyone was professional, efficient and welcoming. The Front-of-House staff was professional, helpful, and welcoming. The clinic itself was clean and comfortable. The MA/Nursing staff was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and helped make me feel comfortable (even though I can get a little nervous in doctor's offices). Dr. Salisbury was professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She had a superb bedside manner. She also helped make me feel at ease and comfortable. Her clinical skill and knowledge let me know I was receiving the best care possible. Dr. Salisbury was able to seamlessly incorporate the use of the EMR with our visit. She used the EMR as a tool, but her focus was clearly completely on me: no small feat with the amount of paperwork healthcare workers have to complete for each patient. She is a superb teacher and counselor - she helped me understand my diagnoses, treatment options, and utilized a collaborative/patient-centered approach. She made me feel like I am in charge of my care and that she is there to help give her expertise to help me choose what is best for me as an individual. I got the sense the entire team felt supported and empowered by the clinic & Novant at large. I hope the team continues to be empowered/supported by the company so they can keep focusing on and delivering superb patient care, and so I can keep coming back to them for years to come.
