I really appreciate my appointment starting on time and being able to go to the lab all within 20 minutes. Dr Garner and the staff are great and I’ve had a wonderful experience for the past 20 years.

My Novant doctor in Mathews of many years resigned. Doctor Garner was exactly what I wanted in a new Doctor. Your Ballantyne location is also much more conveinant to my home. Doctor Garner took the time to answer all of my questions and he took care of all of my requests. He is very easy to talk to. I am well satisfied with Doctor Garner and Novant Health Ballantyne and look forward to a long relationship.

Dr. Garner was very helpful. The check-in staff was not, initially. There is much confusion about my need to see different doctors within my network for different, specialized care - or previous care provided by one doctor or the other. I was nearly refused care in spite of the fact I made an appointment with a doctor who had helped care for me previously with regard to this particular issue. That is why I went to him - because he had an open appointment at a critical time when I needed it and he was familiar with my past same issues. How can I be nearly refused care from a doctor I made an appointment with, and did so because he had cared for me in the past for the same issue? The staff made it sound like I can't see him if I've seen another doctor(s) for any other reason???? Ridiculous. In summary, Dr. Garner was fine. The staff was probably just doing their jobs .... but the reasoning is confounding.
