Doc seemed attentive and answered all my questions. Nurse was friendly but seemed a bit sleepy.

I called with a minority urgent condition. My right ear had a blockage that made it nearly non-functional. I had called an ENT doctor that I had used previously in High Point. I was told that his first available appointment was 6 weeks out, and his P.A. would be 2 weeks out. I didn't want to wait that long, so I called Novant to see if they could do better than that. Imagine my delight to hear that Dr. Whitaker could see me that afternoon! Dr. Whitaker diagnosed this as an earwax problem and cleaned out that ear. I walked out of the office 30 minutes after I walked in, with my problem completely resolved.

This was a first meeting with Dr. Whitaker following a referral from my NP. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Arrangements are being made for follow-up testing and activity.

My problem was unusual but the doctor did not let that deter him. He made a plan and is following through with it.

It’s difficult to take time away from work for a scheduled appointment especially when you end up waiting 45 minutes past your scheduled appointment before the dr sees you.

Doctor was not very personable with the veteran. We very rough in his treatment procedure and acted like he was inconvenienced with our visit.

The Dr. and staff were very nice and professional. They asked questions and listened to my responses. He checked several things and then said he could find out what was really find out more from an MRI,and the hospital would call for schedule my appointment. We have the appointment scheduled for Aprill 15,2024.

I was happy that I was able to get in so quickly and problem taken care of during initial visit. I figured I would be scheduled for the procedure at another appointment. Due to a cancellation I was able to get procedure done while there.

Dr Whitaker is a fantastic physician. He saw me within just a few hours of my request in the office for what he diagnosed as acute bacterial sinusitis, acute otitis media and a perforated tympanic membrane. I received a prescription for oral antibiotics as well as antibiotic ear drops. Dr Whitaker is a consummate professional and went the extra mile to help me. I am doing much better and I am eternally grateful for his care as well as that of his staff.
